It's not currently possible to upload different images for custom list icons between light and dark mode, even though this is possible in other elements (like the Hero image).

It would be essential for us: since the list itself flips between dark text on light background and vice-versa, we'd need the icons to do the same (so they match the text colour), but right now uploading dark icons means they stay the same on a dark background.
